Pokémon Stadium's such a bitch.

    		 Seriously, I've been doing the gym leader castle thing using my Pokémon from Yellow, and I do fine through the first two trainers, then lose my Squirtle on the third but only barely, afterwards winning with ease once again. Then I get to Brock, and he uses an Onix to bind my Pokémon over and over and over, until he finally decides to switch to Omanyte (which, for some reason, skips my Pokémon's attack the turn he switches, despite the fact Onix is gone and I should be released from the bind). Then Omanyte just spams surf, and does a crapload of damage each time, always dealing over half of my Pokémon's damage (even Squirtle, despite the fact it's, quote unquote, "Not very effective.";). Then that just keeps happening until I lose, whilst all of my attacks either miss or don't do much damage. And you know what really bugs me? This same formula happens every single time I try. Honestly, I'll try using different Pokémon, different strategies... same results! I can't stand it.

    So later, I was playing Yellow in the GB Tower to raise my Pokémon's levels. I get Charizard up one, so I save, and it goes to a black screen telling me to "clean the transfer pak and re-insert to save" because those things are so damn sensitive, so I do, and it saves. Then I walk around for a few more seconds, and the whole screen just goes completely black. The whole transfer pak/GB features are totally messed up and fragile. So I finally did what I should've done a few hours ago, and turned it off, having accomplished nothing the whole time.

    All right, sorry for the meaningless rant. Just felt like I wasted a good portion of my day and that people should be aware.
    Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!

    		 yeah, when i ran into certain cups on stadium i had trouble getting through, even with the highest level pokemon in my games. i may go out and buy another n64 and the game again and try some more

    		 Well there are plenty of definitions of "beat". And besides, I used to be able to get much farther... I dunno why this same shit keeps happening, but I guess I'm just losing my touch.
