    Talk about Nintendo's most popular RPG series here!

    I decided to post a topic because I finally took the time to sit down and beat my favorite version, Pokémon Yellow. I used the same party throughout pretty much the whole game, even in the Elite Four: Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charizard (previously Charmander/Charmeleon), Pidgeot (previously Pidgeotto), and Butterfree (previously Caterpie/Metapod). If you can guess why, you're a freaking genius. ;) And yes, having to cancel the evolutions for Squirtle and Bulbasaur after every level was a big pain. :lol:

    Anyways, now I'm off to go get Mewtwo, and the rest of the Pokémon I missed to fill my 'dex as much as possible. Smell ya later!
    Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!

    Wow. That's the team I used to use when playing Yellow Version. I liked Yellow Version because it was like you could play along with the anime. I think I'll play it again sometime. Wasn't the first season of the anime awesome.

    Indeed, it was! When Platinum comes out, I'm gonna name my character Ash and do sorta the same thing, getting all his Pokémon from the whole cartoon series. Yeah, the newer episodes aren't nearly as good, but it's sort of a nice, different way of taking things.

    Last night, I discovered two glitches whilst playing, looking for Pokémon I missed after catching Mewtwo. The first time, I was in that building right before Victory Road where all the guards check to see if you have all the badges. I walked along the grass, and found a Fearow, which I didn't have. I caught it, and when I returned to the map after the battle, this swimmer guy comes out from the top of the screen and swims down the entire screen in his column, despite the fact there's no water and nobody's supposed to move on this map, going through all sorts of objects! :shock: The second one was just above Vermillion City, I went to surf through the water to catch a Psyduck and a Golduck. I saved the game just before surfing, and when I resumed it and surfed, instead of swimming into the water above me, I swam into the ground below! Thankfully, taking one step was just like returning to land, so nothing major happened.

    I looked up both of these glitches and couldn't find them anywhere (I think the latter may be related to swimming behind Bill's house though), I hope my game cart isn't corrupted! I bought it online new in September 2006, so it shouldn't be too bad... although I did carry it around in my backpack most of those two school years... well, anyway, back to playing!

    Nope, EarthBound and Super Mario RPG/Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi. Advance Wars and Fire Emblem are debatable.

    I knew you were going to say that... it was made by both of them, therefore it is a Nintendo RPG, even if not solely Nintendo.

    Man, all I have left is Tangela and Kangaskhan to catch (and a few more to evolve, mostly by stone though), yet I can't even find Tangela, even in the areas of the Safari Zone he's in, and Kangaskhan runs away no matter what I do, even more so when I throw a rock (and if I don't throw one the Safari Ball always misses it)! What do they expect me to do!?!

    Well I finally got Kangaskhan, it only took about ninty different battles with it, but just throwing Safari Balls seemed to do the trick (like I said, it ran away doing just about anything). I still can't find Tangela, despite the fact I'm looking in the only two areas of the game it's in! :x

    Oddly enough, just as I was taking my final steps in the Safari Zone before my time was up, I not only came across one (finally!), but I only threw one Safari Ball at it, and caught it right away! ;) Now I just need to evolve a few Pokémon and trade for some more, and I'm done! :D

    Awesome! I had the Nintendo Power Guide to Yellow Version and in the back it had pokemon stamps and you could put a stamp of a pokemon that you caught in its respective profile.

    I have that same guide. :P

    I got a bunch of Pokémon from versions my friend gave me, so I barely need any more. Now I'm trying to evolve Dragonair into Dragonite, which is the very last thing I can get without having to trade for the rest... and probably the longest, most tedious task in the whole game.

    Actually I evolved him into Dragonite earlier today, and unless I can find somebody whose playing these older ones to trade me the Pokémon I'm missing, I'm never touching that cart again. xD;

    I beat the eighth gym leader in Diamond later, and just got toe the Pokémon Center before Victory Road a few minutes ago! Just getting on here for a break.
