    "Lethal Weapon" is one of my favorite 80s movies. I have quite a few good memories surrounding it. It's a movie I'll watch every time it's on, even if it's edited. I own a book called "Totally Awesome 80s" (which I wrote about along with "Lethal Weapon" in my article "Don't Call Me A Poser";), and while I did like the book, I don't agree with author Matthew Rettenmund's assessment that "Lethal Weapon" was one of the most overrated movies of the 80s, but then again, I feel that the decade's cinema is underrated altogether.
