The only reason Vickie is there is because Eddie pissed all there money away he was horrible with saving it. Vickie will never be fired because Vince will always feel guilty about loosing Eddie on his watch even if he had nothing to do with it. Also if Eddie was still alive he would be loving this entire angle, lets face it this is the same guy who did a angle with Rey Mysterio about being the real father of Rey's son.

Besides its obvious that Edge is just using Vickie as a tool in the relationship so that he can get title shots and stay on top. After he gets what he wants expect to see Vickie cast away. She's a woman on the rebound who has been lonely since her beloved husband died and is trying to move on with her life with someone else.
