Super Mario Bros 2 (Japanese version)

I've played the Japanese version of SMB2 and it was hard at first, but then I got used to the game as time went on. Graphics wise, it doesn't look that much different from the original SMB game, but there is some wacky warp zones that can take you back a few worlds and the red piranha plants doesn't go down even if you stand by the pipe for example.

So did anyone actually played this game?

Never played it, but I've always wondered about it. That Wart character never made sense to me until I found out it was basically a converted Japanese game.

I've only played the Lost Levels version of Super Mario Bros. 2 on Super Mario All-Stars+Super Mario World. The original Famicom Disk System version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is on the Virtual Console for $6.
I want to be a dentist.

I first played it on Super Mario All Stars, then in 1999 as an unlockable on Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on GBC, then in 2004, I ROM'd (yes, Bomberman, I ROM'd) SMB2 to see what it was like. The font looks similar to the font in Zelda II.

I've played it since I first got Super Mario All-stars + Super Mario World, I didn't know what the game was supposed to be at the time but when I unlocked it on Super Mario Bros Delexe in 2001, I noticed it was the same game, I later found out that this game actually was the real Super Mario Bros 2 and then finally, I downloaded it on Virtual Console, and I got to say, that version's harder to beat than the newer releases.
