Tame Impala - Innerspeaker (psychedelic garage rock, the production is way cool.)
Fang Island - self titled (they claim their sound is like everyone high-fiving each other. I gotta agree.)
St. Vincent - Actor (I bought this when it was new and I still can't stop listening to it.)

maudlin of the Well - Part the Second (I put this one separately because it's not what I usually listen to, but it's free on their website if you're curious.)

The brand new Drive-By Truckers album Go Go Boots is excellent.

Smoke Fairies - Through Low Light And Trees (2010.) They also did a great cover of Neil Young's Alabama for a recent Mojo magazine cd insert; http://www.vbox7.com/play:18af5624?r=google

The Dead Milkmen reunited a few years back and this year released The King in Yellow, their first studio album since 1995; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvxK2X2P4C0

    Dopethrone by Electric Wizard.

I've never heard anything quite this good and this heavy. Imagine if you took the heaviest the Smashing Pumpkins ever played, then halved the tempo, then made it 8x as heavy.

Check out the album cover, bro:

Its this evil wizard taking a killer bong hit!!!

    Best album cover EVER.

Here is a song from the album:

Please tell me if you headbanged to this at all. I want to know.

Great band/album. "Come My Fanatics..." is great as well, in my opinion.
