Breakfast Club....guys could identify with it.
Plus, you watch 16 Candles and you get a comedy with romantic overtones (chick flick). You watch The Breakfast Club, you get a comedy thats also a pretty striking expose' on the real-world division of kids in the mid 80's and how different everyone was.
Course....Fast Times at Ridgemont High kicks both these movies asses..but I digress

Dong Duck Long (however it was spelled) was funny no matter which one you pick.

well where John Hughes was considered the patron saint of teen movies, that is a hard question to answer amongst me and my sisters. but for me, it's Sixteen Candles all the way. ya gotta love the Donger and because my mom would let me watch The Breakfast Club because of the constant use of the F word (like I haven't heard that word from my dad at least 10 times a day. )

Well me personally I like both of them.... and pretty in pink...THEY ALL ROCK
I'm a huge brat-packer fan so any of those are an "A" in my book...except for St. Elmo's Fire... never liked it
But even though it didn't not include the brat-pack team...I classify Ferris Bueller as the same genre of movies and just as good!!!
Why don't they make movies like that anymore?
