    Mobile Armored Strike Kommand. The detail in these damn toys was definitely a 8 out of 10 on the Radical Meter. I always wanted this one, the "Raven":

    		 I only had two of them, one of which was pretty cool, the other which I even knew back then was lame.

    The cool one would be the Venom Switchblade. Transformed from helicopter to plane, and it looked cool in either form. Plus it's called the Switchblade. How cool a name is that?

    The LAME one would be the Thunderhawk, Matt Tracker's main vehicle. It transformed from a sports car to a "fighter jet".

    Of course, by "fighter jet" I mean "car with its gull wing doors open". I'm sorry, but opening the doors of a De Lorean all the way is NOT a transformation! Telling me that that's a plane is like telling me that flapping my arms makes me a bird!

    I got this as a birthday gift when I was nine, and I knew it sucked even then.

    		 I wanted M.A.S.K. toys so damn bad as a kid. I had a couple of the figures, but that's it. =(

    (Don't ask me how I ended up with only the figures, probably from a yard sale or something.)

    this is an awesome post....I only wish all posts were as truthful and awesome as this one. M.A.S.K. had serious flaws, and holy shit...this was one of them.

    		 In all fairness, the IROC that changed into a "fighter jet" did have other shit happening with it, missiles, panels folding out, think the wheels shot out or did something etc. It was one of the lamer cars though. My favorite was the motorcycle with the sidecar that turned into a sub.

    		 I know somebody who had a M.A.S.K. toy. Of course, I myself didn't really know about M.A.S.K. nor did I watch the cartoon of it, until two years ago.
