X-Men the arcade game all the way. and no I don't mean the fighting one.

That was probably the most fun 4 player arcade game ever. I loved playing Colossus.

It was even better 6-player. :D

Was there a 6-player cab? So much for my memory. I miss those days. Settling for MAME isn't too bad at all.

Yeah, and it had two screens so you could see what was going on with so many people playing.

I enjoy Nintendo pinball but I prefer the old fashioned kinds or with cool themes like Addams Family and stuff.

Has anyone seen the Lord of the Rings pinball machine? There is one at a pizzeria close to where I live. I swear, there was a heavenly glow emanating from it. You can just imagine how cool it is.

    Hey buddy welcome back!!

My fave will always be TMNT, I remember I used to play it at Show Biz now called Chucky Cheese and as far as I know they still have it. It had the ugliest rendition of April on the sideart. Also we have an arcade called Pojos who used to be a nickel arcade, I beat the simpsons there one time and that game also kicks butt.

recently, the local pizza parlor got their hands on a street fighter 2 console. i was at a going away party for a friend whos going to basic for the navy, so as a present, my friend jarred cashed in a 20 in quarters and we held a street fighter 2 tournament. i didnt get into till the end, BUT as i played, everyone started to get annoyed at the fact that i was winning . there were 6 players, including me, and i played everyone twice until they decided to give up, lol. i was unbeatable. i never really played satreet fighter 2 before, so i guess thats why they thought i was a cheapskate. it didnt occur to them that i am a natural fighting game savant? lol, i guess not. anyways, in effect, street fighter 2 is my fave arcade game now.

back when sega was the ultimate system, i went to chuckee cheezes...and i played this ticket machine, i dont know how to play it i just hit this button and these balls jumped up..it was some kinda of tick tac toe machine, long story short, it glitched out and gave me all the tickets in the machine, i had roughly 50,000 tickets in my hand...i could have gotten that sega for 6000 tickets, but i descided to get the airheads...as in the candy, each was one for 5 tickets...i had boxes of airheads...boxes...those things lasted me a little over a year...

i should have gotten the sega.

Back when I was very young, when I first saw an arcade, I wasn't tall enough to play them.

Then when I became taller, I saw they were interesting, but I was shy about my parents watching me play some of them, I was also shy about the arcades getting stuck in my head, because they might still be in my head around the time my parents would spank me, and point their fingers at me while teaching me with a tampering attitude.

Then between 14 and now, whenever I see an interesting arcade at a place my family brings me to (like a mall), it makes me want to play it, but my family doesn't want me to, because they told me they are time'n'money-wasters and mind-spoilers. I still have my Learner's Permit, and when I get fully prepared to enter any town or city close by, I will probably go with my friends to play the arcades.

On Filter's Top-Ten Best Old-School Arcades poll, the face-off was Pac-Man and Street Fighter II: World Warrior. Pac-Man won. TMNT and X-Men arcades weren't on the list, but the Simpsons were.

I believe Donkey Kong is more interesting than Pac-Man, because of the blazing colors.

Konami's and other companies' beat'em-ups were giants, until SEGA's arcades came in.
