I remember beating this game back when i was in the army one saturday night. I put the controller down while the credits were rolling and got my self a beer. As I took the first drink I noticed that the big boss guy of the game I defeated twitched. Didn't think much of it until he got up to continue the fight, I remember slamming the beer down going oh crap running to the controller and beating the guy once and for all. does anyone else remember this.

Yes, because I immediately DIED after the boss jumped up. I wish someone had tipped me off about that!

I thought Donkey Kong 2 was much harder than the first one...

Now I have beat Donkey Kong Country recently after almost 14 years of playing the game. And I still haven't beat DKC2 or DKC3 yet.

Really, you haven't? For the record, DKC 3's ending is kind of boring and neither Donkey Kong nor Diddy Kong are even in the credits with the other characters, like in the first two games...

That aside, I remember when I first beat K. Rool. I was in middle school still, 7th or 8th grade (can't recall right off). I was so excited after I beat him and those "kredits" came up. I was about to run out of the room to show it to my mother, when I saw "the end?" and K. Rool jump up and hit me before I could get back to the television. lol

As for DKC 2, I've beaten it plenty of times (wish I still had both this, DKC, and my SNES), but, I've never been able to get the second ending to it where you complete the entire lost world.

Overall, I love the first two DKC games and I like DKC64...I still don't like DKC3 much.

I never could beat DKC64. Every once in a while I pull out the N64 in hopes of doing so, but still can never do it.

Always loved the original Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, Enjoyable to play. I have the Nintendo guide book for it as well, that games actually has quite a few hidden things. I remember when I first beat it.

I still have yet to beat 2 and 3, that will change one day, I will make sure of it!

Nope, I'm stuck on the second boss on DKC3. When I first start playing games, I try to play them without cheating and that level was difficult. Then again, I didn't buy the game until 2003. (for some stupid reason, I didn't want to buy it when it first came out) I'm close to beating DKC2 though.

I have beat the first game 4 times and DKC64 about 2 times.

For DK64, I'm stuck on the world where everything is timed. I forgot how long you have to complete it, but I always run out of time since I have a terrible time controlling Diddy in his Jet pack. You have to use DK to pull the lever, and then switch to Diddy and fly through all the stars to open up some other door or whatever. I take so long with him, I never have the time to complete the other tasks that the other Kongs have to do.

That one took me a while to accomplish.

I had to go to GameFAQs to find out how to get out of that level.

It took me 5 years to beat that game.

Donkey Kong Country is my favorite game for the SNES. I also have DKC2 for the Virtual Console and the GBA version of DKC3. I had the strategy guide so I knew that K. Rool would get back up.
