I'm pretty sure I can safely assume everybody's here watched this show at one point or another, but I really don't think it gets as much credit as it deserves. It's probably my favorite '90s show, and all the early '90s humor to it is great. I always watched it as a kid, and because in the later years it was scarce I always got excited to see it on. I even remember the last time I saw it live on TV, it was on the last day of fifth grade, our art teacher turned on Cartoon Network and we got to see the end of a Courage episode, then a full-length episode of 2 Stupid Dogs. Anyways, enough remembering for me, what do you all think of this show? Underrated or overrated?

    Ball!

    Food!
    Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!

My favorite bit was easily "I want the toilet seat!" "No,I want the toilet seat."

And the whole "isn't that cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!!!"
    "Praise White Jesus!!!"

Vastly underrated. One of those cartoons like Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, or the cartoon variety show, Kablam! I'd love to see released on DVD or if it takes too long, Bluray. I'd used to wake up on Saturday at 6am and watch Underdog and Two Stupid Dogs and then wait for Sonic SatAM to come on. The 90's was the last great decade for Saturday Morning Cartoons.

    -Sonic SatAM
    -Batman
    -Spider-man
    -X-men
    -Bobby's World
    -Life With Louie
    -Animaniacs
    -Tiny Toon Adventures
    -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    -Muppet Babies
-The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
-All the Nicktoons up to Spongebob Squarepants (whom I like still)

The 90's was the last decade of the Saturday Morning Cartoon and I was glad to be a part of it.

Wasn't 2 Stupid Dogs created by that guy who made Dexter's Lab?

"isn't that cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!!!" that was my favorite line.

I loved that show! I used to stay up so late just to watch it. I'd have to say I think it was kind of underrated.

I agree with most people here that the "Itsn't that cute? But it's wrong!" line was funny.

Has anyone else noticed how in the episode when the big dog (John) falls in love with the hamster, it has a moment after the little dog says love just sort of "hits you", which he then he has hearts in his eyes and is about to hug John, but then gets hit or something (don't exactly remember)? I think that might be the first time in a cartoon (aside from the Simpsons episode about Homer growing hair, so kid's cartoon) that they've ever shown anything remotely related to homosexuality.

OMG!! I totally forgot that line! That guy's name was Hollywood and he would show up at random in the dog's misadventures to help them out. I love the episode where the dogs are stunt doubles for some monkeys in a Tarzan style movie and Hollywood is in the whole get up and then they have all those takes of them screwing up in the movie. Or...the episode where they're working on Hollywood's farm (I guess he's a jack of all trades because besides an actor, I think Hollywood is also a farmer, a musician, and a casino owner) and they want corn flakes for breakfast and they try to make them from scratch. Good times.

Same here. I love that line

It was a pretty good, entertaining, show in my opinion. I think it was highly underated, they also could have done a little with it and created more episods. It just doesn't seem to me that they made very many.

I didn't realize the genius of this show until watching it again recently. It's such an underrated show that deserves a box set.

Yeah, as a matter a fact you're right, it does sort of deserve a DVD boxed set. I think there is a enough people out there who like it to where it might sell okay. Hopefully someday they will do that.
They need to put it back on Boomerang. It was on there not all that long ago.

Wow, so it was this cartoon that had that, "Isn't that cute...BUT IT'S WRONG!!" thing. It had been on my mind forever, and I could not remember what cartoon it was from. It was this goofy show. lol

I used to watch this. I actually liked the stuff dealing with Secret Squirrel most, though.

My favorite 2 Stupid Dogs episode was definitely the one that was making fun of the Brady Bunch, only the boys and their father were blonde and the girls had brown hair, like their mother, and Alice looked like a dude in drag. lol

I like how each person said what they'd learned at the end. Each thing the kids said, was something that a Brady kid did. Like the one that's supposed to be Bobby was like, "I learned that Jesse James isn't a good role model" and the Jan one was like, "I won't switch dad's sketches for a Yogi Bear poster". lol
