I don't like the original Legend of Zelda. The only memories I have of this game are wandering around aimlessly for hours, entering dungeons out of order, and those assholes that pop out of the water whenever you cross a bridge.

A Link to the Past luckily remedied everything I hated about it.

yeah I agree. I even like zelda 2 a little more than the original...and I hate zelda 2. We only played zelda 2 when we ran out of other games to play. Then lttp just blew everything out of the water

I got a copy of The Legend of Zelda over the summer, and I don't hate it. It's not that bad once you know where to go. I payed $15 for a gold copy, so I feel like I payed a decent price.

Nice, I just got the cartridge. I would like a complete copy, but I am fine as long as I have the game.

The SNES one was good too, but they shouldn't have made N64 games, Zelda doesn't work if the console can't give it good graphics.
Always playing as Yoshi since 1995!

Graphics alone don't make a good game. Besides, I thought they were just fine on the N64 games.

I'm not saying graphics are what make a game but the N64 looked too cartoony for me to take it seriously but I still ike the gameplay.

Zelda 64 and Majora's Mask looked great to me. Only when compared to today's games might they appear as cartoonish, but back in the day they were the shit.

And by the way, LttP was just as cartoonish-looking (what was up with that pink scarf anyway?).

It's not that convoluted of a timeline. It just spans across multiple scenarios. Check http://www.zeldawiki.org/Timeline if you're really confused about it.

Skyward Sword looks fun, but the motion controls will be tough to get used to.
