    		 I love this game, it's probably one of my favorite games on the NES. I'll admit it, I didn't play this game until I got the Virtual Console version on my Wii. I really wish that Mike Jones was at least an Assist Trophy for Brawl.

    What are your thoughts on StarTropics?

    P.S. Would anyone happen to know where an animated avatar of Mike Jones is?

    		 StarTropics II: Zoda's Revenge was one of the final NES games to be released. Basically, Mike Jones goes through a magic book and ends up back in time. From the Wild West, etc. At one point, he even goes back to C-Islands.

    A difference in gameplay is that he no longer uses the Yo-yo, as he now uses throwing weapons, like tomahawks, knives... also, you can now go diagnoly, and the movement is a lot smoother.

    		 Ahhh!! I remember this game! I loved it! I think I have the NES cart somewhere in my house, I gotta find it! I wanna play it again! I never had Zoda's Revenge though... I heard it didn't do so well. I remember looking through a Nintendo Power magazine as a youngster and reading about it. But my parents never bought it for me. :(

    		Star Tropics was cool and had hard parts! My God, it wasn't until the mid to late 90s I had finished the thing. :lol:

    The Dolphin level was cute, but I loved Shecola! The dialogue in the whole level when Mike has to get the fortune teller's ball so she could turn him into a girl. .just loved it. Then the old man.."You looked so cute, dressed as a girl. Haha" Too funny. :D

    I wish I could have got Star Tropics 2..oh well..

    I still have the box with all the manuals and the map in it. I had no idea it was made by Nintendo, it never occured to me to look at the box until this morning.

    		 Startropics is one GREAT game :D I own them both, but have yet to really try out the 2nd one. It kinda does have a zelda type theme with it. I should play it again!

    Yeah, it's been on the Virtual Console since January. Someday, I want to get StarTropics and StarTropics II on my NES.
