Who's gotten the flu so far?

    		 I was going great this winter until my co-workers started coughing and hacking up their lungs so I guess I couldn't avoid it. Whyyy didn't I stay home today? Aches, pains,congestion, runny nose, swollen throat glands..the works :( Maybe I should have sprung for a flu shot........not :roll: i'll do the theraflu and chicken soup thing when I get home.

    		 You know most people who get sick in the winter time assume they have the flu, when they really just have a cold or a virus of some unknown type.

    When you have the Flu, you feel like you're actually going to die. This is the reason why old people actually expire from The Flu.

    I'm not saying you don't have it, I'm just saying....everyone thinks they have the flu, but most people don't. And the people that DO have the flu, well, they know it :)

    They're the ones lying in bed after 3 days praying to their Diety of choice to "Kill ME NOW! KILL ME NOW! DONT MAKE ME SUFFER!" :D

    		 I didn't have the flu, but I did have the NoroVirus around New Year's. I was in bed for about a day or two. Lost 10 pounds. Everybody but my sister had it.

    		 I hardly ever get the flu, yet every year I get some nasty cold/virus that I've named "The Accursed Voodoo Cold of Pablo San Lucho". It will linger for weeks at a time and won't go away no matter how much chicken soup I eat or orange juice I drink.

    Geez that really will cure it and melt your face off at the same time.


    I know that eating very spicy food is really good at getting rid of cold's. When i have a cold i make a chillie and make it really hot and spicy and after eating it and drinking 10 gallons of water to stop my throat from dissolving my cold goes soon afterward's.

    I had all of that plus fever that lasted a week and a cough that wouldn't quit. Missed a week and a half of work due to it.

    		 For the most part I'm fine, cept for the ole morning on-and-off sore throat, and stuffy nose.

    If I had the flu, I'd know, because in my mind, I want to do something, but my legs won't go. :x

    		 I've never had the flu before, and I hope it stays that way. Out of curiosity, did any of you get your flu shots for the year? I don't myself since I seem to catch a cold every time I do, but it's supposed to be helpful and junk to the normal people out there.

    		 I've got hayfever really bad at the moment. It's summer down here, obviously. Itchy red eyes and a perpetually runny nose, ugh! It's really pissing me off, because I've never had hayfever before this year.

    		 u know what's funny, my grandma had a flu shot a while ago cuz it was startin to get required everwhere and she neva got tha flu until she acutally got the shot. i know why but i juss thought i might put that out there. Oh and i have gotten tha flu. my temp was 101.
