    		 I know practically everyone my age has a fetish for either Hulk Hogan or the Ultimate Warrior. I truly believe the Macho Man needs some much needed props. After all he had the hottest ring side bitch, Miss Elizabeth. What did the Hulk have? Furthermore, what the hell happened to the Barber Beefcake? Anyways, what's everybodies favorite WWF wrestler from the 80's?

    		 Alot of these wrestlers die from heart attacks due to massive steroid abuse over the course of their careers. I'm not sure how british bulldog died but Google it, the answer is out there :)


    My personal favorite? You gotta love Rowdy Roddy Piper, but given a choice, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE :)

    		 You gotta remember in the late 1970's and early 1980's wrestling was still underground. There were no intro songs, no fireworks, there were scripts and characters but it was very basic..good guys versus bad guys.

    Back then a character like George "The Animal" Steele was UNIQUE....he was great, watching himlumber around the ring, drooling, chewing on the ropes :)
    GREAT STUFF!

    Then Vince MacMahon kinda ruined it (some will say he saved it, I prefer to think that he ruined it) by making the characters flashier...intro songs...fireworks...and wrestling that ceased to be interesting and instead became too theatrical and, as a result, kinda hokey.

    Back in the day when Bob Backlund was the WWF Champ for like, ever, the characters weren't yet over-the-top. They had gimmicks, Superfly and his flying finishing move and stuff, that dude with the black-thing on his forarm....but it hadn't yet become "stupid" yet. There was a certain air of credability to the sport, and it did seem "more real".

    Later it became more about acrobatics and makeup...and it seemed beyond fake. I dunno, maybe I just outgrew it!

    		 Beefcake and ultimate warrior were great. I've always liked Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. JYD was fun to watch along with Jake the snake. The coolest thing about the old guys is alot of them had props. Half of the fun was waiting for Hacksaw to bust the Brooklin Brawler in the face with a 2x4.

    THE BRITISH BULL DOG and BRUTUS THE BARBER BEEFCAKE (whom came back to the WCW as Hulk Hogans "hill billy/biker" looking body guard during the NWO reign) were 2 different wrestlers. bulldog has a british accent and the barber had an american one.

    I believe both have since died.

    I met VIRGIL not too long ago and all he kept telling me is VINCE MCMANN ruined wrestling then jumped ship.

    		 beefcake was definatly not the bulldog and is still alive! bulldog died of a heart attack due to all the roids back in the 80s :(

    		 Junkyard Dog, I think, was driving home from his daughter's graduation from college, he fell asleep at the wheel and collided with a car head on.

    Sad really

    Also, Brutus Beefcake is still alive and kicking I think

    My favorite 80's wrestler? A three way tie between Hogan, Savage, and Piper.

    Are you guys FUCKING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!! If you think Beefcake was the Bulldog then are not very good WWF fans. Wrestlemania 2, The British Bulldog's- The Dynomite Kid and Davey Smith(The British Bulldog) beat Brutus Beefcake and Greg the hammer Valentine for the tag titles.

    		 Brutus is still alive. He was caught with crack like a year ago, but he's still alive.

    Jake Roberts is somehow still kicking. I always predict he'll be the next wrestling death but I'm always wrong.

    Razor Ramon/Scott Hall isn't dead. He's in TNA now. Although a few years ago I figured he'd be the second most likely to die soon.

    Has anyone seen Sunny lately. After leaving WCW in 2000 she ballooned up. But apparently she and Chris Candido are clean now.
