I didn't find it, but a friend of mine got an original Harry Potter Dumbledore figure for $2 at a garage sale when it was going for nearly $200 on ebay. Talk about being lucky.

I've found all kinds of cool older dolls at yard sales. I think the coolest thing I found was a Popple for a dollar. I've been looking for one for years.

I found a Hagrid figurine once and got it for like seventy five cents. I always look for Harry Potter stuff now and I search everywhere. I got an Edgar plush toy from Once Upon A Forest at a garage sale along with two other stuffed animals for a dollar. Beanie Babies are another big must have for me I just love them my oldest one is Chocolate the Moose. I also have lots of Adventures in Odyssey tape sets another thing that I love that case that the tapes are looks just like a video case. One lady was surprised to see tapes inside when she checked it she thought it was just a video tape. My rarest find of all was an old stuffed E.T. doll that has leathery skin which is now starting to split but I still love it anyway. I also have a stuffed Gizmo in my room too and he is so cute.

Went to a couple of garage sales this summer and this is what I found (and bought):

    - Godzilla 1998 cups and figurine from Taco Bell
    - A Pez dispenser still in its package, as well as some random McDonald's toy still in the bag
    - An M&M's thermos from 2002
    - A PS1 video game (Rascal)
    - A musical carosel I got for my sister

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some items I saw, but didn't buy:

    - Another PS2 (with games and controllers, one game in that batch I already have, and that's Tony Hawk's Underground)
    - More random fast-food toys
    - Final Fantasy X
    - Some Green Lantern 2011 toys still in packaging
    - A large number of Star Wars figures also in their original packaging
    - Many others I cannot mention

Just got a beat-up (but functional) electric guitar for $10 on Saturday. Been looking for a deal like that for a few years now.

Man, I haven't been to a garage sale in months. The weather here has been so frigid no one wants to have one. The last one I went to was amazing. This guy had been collecting vintage toys for years and he was selling it all. I picked up a box of old He Man type action figures, and a few Nintendo games. Nothing is better than finding treasure at a yard sale.
