What I meant about emergency broadcasting is that the bands in the frequency spectrum that once went to analog TV, would now be freed up for police, fire, ambulance, etc. departments to use.
Interesting to know that in the DEAS system, we can now have video transmissions as well. Will it be able to lock you down to the transmission like it does now? also, with the current EAS, you can stream text onto the screen. I bet you could also stream video as well.
