That dumbass fell 70 something feet into the ring. Jesus Christ.

I bet some sick fuck still has footage of that fall. I want to see it.

I bet that's why Bret Hart retreated behind those gay looking pink glasses. He just couldn't take the sunlight after his bro died.

All in all, what the hell do you expect? You get up 70 feet in the air on some girder and you have no sort of back-up harness.... and you're surprised to fall to your death? I say that's just Darwin's Law baby. 8)

He had a backup harness but it was faulty.

Fuck that yo. If I'm going up that high, nothing short of a tractor beam would be enough for me.

If two damn harnesses failed... damn. It was just his time then I guess.

pixies, please dont talk about shit you dont have a FUCKIN clue about. read bret hart's book, and talk to people inside the WWE before you go making rash statements about how this man died very unfortunately and ACCIDENTALLY. i really dont want to seem to harsh here, but it pisses me off when people tlak about shit they really dont have a clue about. read into things before you state them as fact.

Can you give me some "facts" from the highly biased sources you are refering to?

I bet Owen Hart was drunk or on 'roids and that's why it happened.

Nah, Owen probably wasn't on roids or drugs. And yeah, it was faulty equipment that caused the accident (as far as everyone knows). And no videotape exists outside of what the WWE has/has destroyed.

I'd say read my article on Owen, but that was just an overview of his life. As for Owen being "drunk or on roids" Owen didn't drink, never took drugs, and lived for his kids. If he was drink, Vince would of sent him home. So check your facts before you open your mouth again.

And besides, Bret wore those sunglasses before Owen died because you could tell he was nervous when giving interviews. You can check my "sources" by watching any footage of Bret Hart before Owen died or watching his DVD, which he states in an interview that's why he started wearing the glasses. You're probably some punk kid trying to stir things up.

I don't know why you deify this man. No one in wrestling is clean, and Owen Hart was the worst of all of 'em!

They just played the kids thing up. If he loved them so much, why'd he jump to his death???

Hahaha...Stirring up the rasslin' fans, Pixies.

I think it's sad that a guy died for such a lame gimmick. Was the Blue Blaze (?) supposed to be a parody of Sting at that time or what?

The Blue Blazer was a gimmick of sting, which was in itself a spoof of another character called "Ranger Ross" Owen didnt jump. His harness failed and he fell to the ring and died. The only reason he was doing the stunt was because he was under contract. Contrary to popular beliefs not all wrestlers use steroids. The only person who doesnt have there facts straight is you pixies.

In what way is Sting a spoof of Ranger Ross? I was one of those kids that bought into Sting's "Crow" gimmick in the late 90s and at the time thought he was awesome.

I'd never heard of Ranger Ross before but I just read about him (and his fall from grace). What did he do exactly that Sting ripped off?

Ok pixie bitch, now your pissing me off. Owen did not kill himself. He wrestled to provide for his kids. It was something he was good at, hell some would say he was better then Bret. And I'm inclined to believe that. He had a loving wife, and two great kids. So don't you even dare bring his children down. This is something you will not win, especially with me.

And further more, Owen would go back to the hotel while Bret and the others went to a local bar for the night. He would call home every night to make sure the kids where alright.

HA! Lord knows Vince McMahon encourages everyone in the WWE to live a healthy and clean lifestyle.

You wrestling nerds take this shit way too seriously.

God bless Owen. May he rest in peace.

If someone has that videotaped it would be EXTREMELY valuable. After all when he fell, the camera was on Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
