I'll never forget Cal Ripken Jr. breaking the most-consecutive games played record.

I still remember sitting there watching it on HTS. Those were the good old days.

I was also in attendance the night that Cal came out of the lineup for the first time. People were flippin' out.

My favorite sports memory was sitting on the first base line during game 6 of the '86 World Series, when Mookie Wilson dribbled a grounder past Buckner to win it for the Mets. That one game solidified my Mets' fanhood for life.

That's one of the biggest all-time sports moments. That's what made me hate the Mets.

Dublin V Cork in the 1987 National League Quarter final. Teams are even after 70 minutes. Extra time is to be played, Dublin come out to the pitch, Cork don't....

D.J. Carey's point, versus Clare, All-Ireland Hurling Final, Croke Park, 2002

Here D.J. Carey lifts the sliothar on to his hurley, balances it, flicks it up and scores a point with ease. The point contributes to Kilkenny's second All-Ireland in three years.

I will never forget being 10 years old in the bleachers of old Rangers Stadium, watching Nolan Ryan pitch his 7th and final career No-Hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays, and he ended the game on a strike out. The guy was like 45 years old!
