My first ever console was the Magnavox Odyssey 2, otherwise known by myself as the Phillips Videopac. It ran on cartridges, had a lousy keyboard but it was very much close to an early sinclaire or C64 type computer.

It had quite a lot of cool games for its time of course, the graphics weren't great but my favorite happened to be this "cowboy" game: Gunfighter or "Showdown in 2100 A.D".

    Here's the box cover

All you did was shoot at eachother and there were various obstacles, in the form of trees that would prevent you from shooting the other player or you could hide behind one of the trees to shield off the bullets.

After that I had an Atari 2600 which was very awesome and it provided countless hours of fun.

This was all back in the good ol early 80s before the NES explosion.[/img]

Either it was Commodore 64 (if you count it as a console) or NES if my lousy memory serves me right.
I do know I played some other kind of console earlier that my uncle had. Don“t remember what though...

My first system was the SNES. My uncle gave it to my brother and I for Christmas one year, and I remember my mother talking to us individually about what games we wanted for it. Our first games were Goof Troop, Tom and Jerry, and Speedy Gonzales Los Gatos Banditos (which was my personal favorite.).

I'd love to be able to play it again. Our SNES stopped reading cartridges after a while though and we got rid of it, along with all the games. :[
