My first console was a used NES my uncle gave me for my birthday.
Luckily it came with a zapper, 2 controllers and about 10 or 12 games.

    bologna combined!"

My first console was a NES I got for my 6th birthday, of course by then all my friends had switched over to the more modern SNES.

Original Nintendo. Though it was actually given to my sister, and I wasn't born yet...
The Game Gear was also HERS...
So I guess MY first was my Genesis.
But whatever, I've since adopted the other consoles...and welcomed a psONE and ps2 into the family.
I am deranged, but so, so playful!

Atari 2600. I loved the Atari Force comics that came with some of the games. I'm sure they sucked.

    my first gaming console is--

    famicom aka micro genius.

its funny how that and NES have different sound cards.
i still have it till this day including japanese to american converter and the american 2 japanese converter as well.
pluging the american double dribble game into the famicom slows the voice down REAAALLL slow in the beginning. its VERY scary. lol.

Genesis is a really long lasting system in terms of usage. Mine has been around for about 16 yrs(it was my brothers, who's 8 yrs older than me), or whenever the first Genesis came out. Adn it still plays. Talk about long. My NES still runs too, but not nearly as well as my genesis.
