my first ever console was a NES. i think i was about 7 or 8 at time, and my dad bought it for me and my brother, the games we got with it were Super Mario Bros. and Dr. Mario to begin with. and obvioulsy our collection grew and grew with quality games. but i still remember the day i got it. i am almost 22 now. so i was a fair few years ago. haha.

My first console was a "Magnavox Odyssey" that my father bought back in 1973. Then he bought Atari's "Pong" a few years later. The Odyssey system had to use these plastic sheets that you had to put on your tv screen, because the game system couldn't generate the required graphics on its own. It also didn't have any kind of sound either.

NES was my first love. had many games, but i'd say the mario games consumed a great deal of my time. mine still works, but only after a little finesse and a lot of patience with the cartridges and system

Sega Genesis. Hell, we had it before I was born. Sonic 1 was great, but we got Sonic 2 soon after.

I grew up on Intellivision and Intellivision2 after the original went bad. The joys of having older siblings.

My first console was Dendy... Do you know what does it mean? It's just NES... But it's Russian console. And I had Spectrum that time too... But it belonged to my father, Dendy was mine.

NES was my first console. I put a ton of hours in to Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. Can't wait for Duck Hunt to show up on the Wii's Virtual Console.

The first system that I could call my own would have to be the Sega Genesis. It was a gift to me from my dad's girlfriend's brother. It was really used when I got it and I played that thing constantly.

Atari 2600 in 1980 with COMBAT . . . we later had about 25 games including PITFALL, ENDURO, STAMPEDE, DEFENDER, PHOENIX, MS. PAC-MAN and the even PORKY'S: THE GAME . . . which was incredibly lame. Later we had NES with a light gun and that sill robot . . . I'm a Nintendo geek, but that robot was ridiculous.
