Well, the direct to DVD movie has been released today. Its really damn good. It started off a bit slow, but it built up to a great storyline. It clocks in at a good 89 minutes, which is what I'd expect from direct to DVD movie. I don't feel the title actually reflects the storyline. But I digress. Anyway, if you're a Futurama fan or even a casual fan, you won't be disappointed.

I'm glad to hear it's good in your opinion. I love the show and will give this a chance when I get some green to spend.

I forgot to mention that there is a paradox in the film that never gets answered. Spot it.

Is it Seymour getting fossilised by an explosion caused by Bender even though he was shown spending the rest of his days waiting for Fry until he died in the episode "Jurassic bark"?

Not the one I was thinking of. *Spoiler warning for the crybabies* Its how did the tattoo get on Fry's butt in the first place without it being put on through time travel.

Here's another question that didn't get answered.

What did Bender do with Hermes' old head when he went back in time to get the old body?

I saw the trailer on the Simpsons Movie DVD. I can't wait to see it. Especially to see what the secret of time travel is doing on Fry's ass. Also to see what was with Hermes getting decapitated.

I think "Bender's Big Score" is ok, but depressing.

I'd like to see it in episodic format to see if there are any changes.

I just bought Bender's Big Score and it was really good. I loved the twist that happened where Fry's dog getting fossilized and New York getting destroyed while Fry was still frozen were all caused by Bender. I guess it's been kind of a treat for Matt Groening fans that The Simpsons Movie and the first Futurama movie would both be on DVD around the same time. I have a lot of Simpsons sets on DVD but I couldn't find Futurama anywhere, so now I have the movie.
