I'm no fanboy, but if I remember right he was on a plane as a kid that crashed in the Amazon. He was then raised by animals in the wild and became what you see.
How....tarzan/george of the jungle "ish".

I don't know about the eye roll, but thats the story I got from the games. I never cared enough to figure why he mutated.
no, i was just kidding. the irony of it strikes me funny. i'm the type of person who likes to know all about different characters. it's nothing against you at all!
i guess i wasn't really surprised at his background story. he seems like a mix of hulk and tarzan, anywho.
thanks anyway for the great info!

Vega (Balrog) has always been my favorite out of the whole series. Elena, Chun-li, Guy and Rose come in somewhere after that (being my favorite characters doesn't necessarily mean they're the best I play with though).
and yeah, that's right about Blanka. Originally they said he got his powers from the storm that crashed his plane, but I believe officially he learned it from mimicking electric eels. How one does that, I don't know but hey, I can't project myself in a ball either.

Always and forever, Chun Li. But, now I like Elena and Makoto tied in second.
I just didn't like Street Fighter Alpha 3. That game was a lame joke.

compared to SFA2, yeah. I really only keep playing it because of the character selection. But then, I don't like SF3.

I forgot to mention that, too. The graphics were good, but like Street Fighter Alpha, something was missing... :

I used to love Darkstalkers; though the only fighting game I think of not liking is Actua Fighter. I even have fond memories of War Gods and Primal Rage (but they won't work on my MAME ).
Yes they will ...
ol you need is the CHD-file of it .... (image)
I"ve just installed WarGods on my Mame and it plays great ...
much more details as the N64-version

in the street fighter anime blanka is some dude in a huge test tube in a lab. With some dr. wily ripoff doing weird experiments. Sort of along the same lines as the hob goblin I guess.

The "Final Fight" series officially co-exists with the "Street Fighter" series.
