    		 This is an obscure movie form 1987, but it's one of my favorite movies ever.

    		:shock: Dude!! :D I love this movie! It was like a Disney movie in the fact that it had music numbers every 10-15 minutes. And none of them were gushy love songs either, they were really fun songs to sing along to.

    Lovits was the voice of the radio, one of my favorite characters. And the lamp didn't die although he came close after being struck by a lightening bolt. I still don't get what happened to the vacuum (Kirby) at the waterfall that made him go nuts.

    		 The Brave Little Toaster is one of my favorite movies! I haven't seen it in several years, but I still remember watching it. Now I have to go track that down.

    Dude it was a Disney and they actually released more in the series of them including: The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars & The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue all of which i now have on vhs and took me ages to find them all.
    Every time I visit RetroJunkit seems to change. Just glad the people dont.

    		 I'm going to grag this thread from the grave jsut to add my 2 cents. As you can see,t he movie made my avatar.
    It was my absolute FAVORITE movie, and I can't figure out why. I loved the music in it too, and I feel like such a dork for it. Seriously, though, I watched it again last year and almost cried (truthfully) because I loved it so much and really missed it. I think I'm going to secure another copy for when I have children, if mine dies before then.

    :oops: Oh, yeah it WAS Disney. Those other ones kinda sucked though.
    I agree with Mav, movies that are horribly scientifically inaccurate are really annoying (IE: Jimmy Neutron).

    		 Im so glad there are other people out there that loved this flic... me and my sis love it, we thought it was pretty funny! Loved the electric blankie, he was so cute!

    Our mom always thought it was the stupidest movie...hahahaa

    We were having a garage sale selling off alot of old VHS tapes, and my mom thought we'd be getting rid of this one....NO WAY!!! :-)

    		 A decade after having first seen this, I still hum the tune from the forest scene (bzzz, bzzz, bzzz, ba-da-da-da-da-duh) and that creepy ass thing from the appliance store.

    Saddest moment had to be when Toaster witnessed the petals falling off the flower. If Air Conditioner blowing out wasn't traumatic enough, we have this little gem. The decay and death of all things was a pretty heavy-handed thing for a kids movie.

    		 Ah, The Brave Little Toaster! I watched this movie thousands of times, but it never failed to unsettle me during those disturbing moments.

    A few of them, in order of scariness (based on my opinion, of course):
    - The huge, wide-eyed fish falling from the sky into the circle of frogs in the pond
    - The wicked/predatory? smile on the female sewing machine's face at the master's apartment
    - Lampy turning on the light in the tree with the scary face
    - Lampy getting struck by lightning
    - The vacuum flipping out at the waterfall
    - When the gang dresses up as a phantom and scares the appliance-tinkerer
    - When the master's about to get his hand crushed and the toaster contemplates jumping into the gears
    - The air conditioner
    - The dream with the evil fire clown *shudder*

    Yeah, it was pretty intense. But we love it.

    		 I still love this movie. I had taped it as a kid and then taped over it. I rented it a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed. It's wonderful and a tad disturbing.

    *The clown scene is disturbing

    *The hardware/parts shop was disturbing

    *I felt so sad at the flower that saw it's refelction in the toaster. It had no point in the story, just a moment of melancholy I guess.
