I remember how popular the books became around the mid-90s, but, to me, most of those stories were not scary. They were mostly things that would scare a little kid like green slime, zombie teachers, or mutant cookies. Stories that would really scare me would be one that are based on a true situation, and are very old.
I did like, however, to watch it just for fun. Man! Fox Kids used to be so cool during weekdays. I remember when I would come back from school and watch those cartoons and kid-oriented shows and enjoy them.

But today, at least where I live, it's nothing but reruns of "The Steve Harvey Show", "Judge Judy", "On the air with Ryan Seacrest", "Divorce Court", and "Texas Justice." BLECCCH! I remember when they first replaced it with reruns of stinking "It's a Different World" and "The Nanny", the latter wasn't really bad.
How I liked those days!
