    First aired in 1997, So it is not that retro but also not that new. It had a few good episodes. It kept me a little entertained.

    		 ooooo that was some crazy stuff...i hated in the intro when the dogs eyes glowed ewww, "Are you afraid of the dark?" was scarier :shock:

    		 I have the whole first collection (including some doubles and triples of the same ones), almost all of the Pick your own adventures books, the three hard cover trilogies, all those camp Skelly things, and 5 VHS copies of the Goosebumps show.

    ...yeah, I liked those books way too much. :roll:

    		 I used to read these books and still own quite a few of them. However I outgrew them once I turned 12 or so, since RL Stine had this thing about ending a chapter when you think something scary's about to happen, but realy it's just a sibling (usually older) playing a trick on the guy.. Once I tapped inot that running theme, it sort of annoyed me and I stopped reading the books. But I was a fervent fan for a couple of years ('97 through '99 or so).

    I think it's cool that RL Stine was the head writer of Eureka's Castle. Two totally different genres!

    		 I used to read them! Back in '95, My friend used to read them and she would visit and I saw her books and got really interested in them. They were pretty cool books and the show was fun too, especially the "Slappy" episodes! :)

    		 man those books were hard to come by at my library everyone and their mother had a copy, the only one i liked was "say cheese and die" that one was pretty cool.. but i was like in 5th grade...

    		 Only one I ever cared for was Attack of the Mutant (even have the PC game), and that's because I was a comic fan.

    Now Animorphs, there was a series I collected religiously (accept those Choose Your Own Adventure knocko-offs).

    		 Yeah I remember when it came out and I remember the first show also the Tell of the Haunted Mask about the girl who who finds a mask and tries it on and when she goes to take it off it does not come off. I forget the rest but I know it was good. The shows were good my favorites were about the Dummy, And the other one was about a kid in training against a werewolf at camp but he did not know he was in training. It was a two part show. Other then that I really don't remember much but that it came on Fridays on Fox when I was in highschool.

    Wow, you're Way Off.

    First of all, the show first aired in October 1995.

    And the books first started coming out around 1992 or 1993

    		I was too much of a wimp too read those when I was littler. I read like two of them and I guess they were two of the few scary ones because I got scared (but I was like 7):lol:

    		 I read the books when i was 11 back in 1993 and saw the show when i was 13 back in 1995, loved it as much as "Afraid of the Dark".

    My favorites have always been the Night of the Living Dummy ones cause i do love killer dolls.

    DUDE! That was one hell of a PC game, and the book was great too. 'A Night In Terror Tower' was an awesome book. I have some fond memories of that game. I guess that they made 'Escape From HorrorLand' game as well, but I never got around to that.
