Mental Blade 7 years 9 months ago Posts: 123 Account Disabled	I was the proud owner of a PS2. I had a lot of "fun games" in the eyes of reviewers and such but I wanted something fun. I went up to gamestop, traded it in, and got a gamecube with 5 games. I bought Tales of Symphonia, MGS: The twin snakes, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil 4(I later got some more). I was hanging out with one of my cool friends(the only gamer I know that plays games to be a gamer, not to be a fanboy) and one of his other friends popped up. He was all like, "Why did you buy that kiddie sh@#(note the games I bought), you had a ps2 with cool games and everything! Why did you buy a crapcube! I beat it is all pink and gay!"(I bought a jet black one) I asked him if he ever played a gamecube and he said, NO! I refuse. Nintendo never did anything right. What are you a nintendo fanboy or something? F u guys, I am going to play Halo!(then he left). I wanted to punch that little jackass. I hate people like that. I never say anything bad about what others own. Also, if nintendo didn't exist, game might have failed in the late 80's and we might not have them today.

GrimmBilly 7 years 9 months ago Posts: 513	I own all three systems and in my opinion the Xbox is the best. It has better graphics, better load times and save options. Any game you can buy for the PS2 is most likely on the Xbox as well. I bought the Gamecube because I've all ways been a Nintendo fan and was looking forward to the Nintendo "exclusive" titles like zelda, mario and metroid. I realize now that I really don't enjoy games like that anymore, I just don't have the time or the patience for long games with big epic storylines. Resident Evil 4 kicked ass though. On the next round I think I'll be buying the Xbox360 only.

TheLady 7 years 9 months ago Posts: 179	Pathetic morons like that will eventually realise their stupidity one way or another. It doesn't matter. Especially not for nintendo, since it has a hardcore fanbase that doesn't give shit about those kinda people. I'd say one should play the games (s)he likes and therefor buy the system that has most of those games. There are quite a few games that make me wish that I had a ps2, but my xbox and gamecube offer me enough entertainment to forget about those. I play games for fun, and as long as I have fun, I couldn't care less about people telling me the system/games is/are bad.
	If anyone can help me get my hands on King Arthur and the Knights of Justice episodes (other than the first five which were released on DVD way back in 2004), please contact me (PM). I really want to see this show again.

Deleted 7 years 9 months ago Posts: 54340	I've played Nintendo (still have SNES and N64 and wouldn't give up SNES for anything) and love it. We just got the kids a PS2 for Christmas last year. My son (5) and oldest daughter ( 8 ) both play as do my husband and I. I love PS2. I've yet to play Xbox but my sister and her husband just borrowed an Xbox from a friend of theirs and said that they prefer their PS2 over the Xbox. They're coming out with all new systems next year. A PS3, new xbox (can't remember the name) and new Nintendo one but can't remember the name of it either. ~Karen

However, when the new ones role along I shall get a PS3. In fact PS2 is the first non NINTENDO console I ever owned because I trusted nothing else after trying my friends game gear he was like "look how cool the games are and it's in color too" never mind the fact that it was a cheap peice of crap that slurped up batteries like a black hole.

I don't even use it very much, and in my opinion, the last great gaming system that I could enjoy was the original SNES. The new systems have too many buttons, complicated games, etc...I really don't have time to waste learning 50 million different controls just to play one game. What happened to the gas, brake, and turn commands on Mario Kart, that game was f*ckin sick.

Deleted 7 years 8 months ago Posts: 54340	I'd go with XBox. The hardware's capability pretty much beats GameCube in most areas, and beats PS2 hands-down. Plus the hackability and available emulators for it are what I'm really interested in. Not to mention, it makes a great Linux box in a pinch. I don't even have one yet, and probably won't get one until the 360 comes out...provided that it's as easy to modify/upgrade as the current system. The annoying thing with it is the controller.
