Mmm.. i've asked this question to myself very recently when i saw the NES classis series for the Gameboy Advance.

    1. Super Mario Bros. - It's Simply the best & starter of sidescrollers.

    2. Super Mario Bros 2 - It's just so.. so... you know... dreamy!

    3. The Legend Of Zelda - Wow, that game had me for weeks! (i had the gold cartrigdge

I know; very predictable, but hey, we all fell for them right? Damn, bring me back those gaming afternoons!

my favorite game for nes is "Base Wars". This game take place in the not so distant future with you playing baseball with robots on a space station turned intergalactic baseball diamond. This screams BEST GAME EVER!!

Im probably the only one who thinks so but i like the second mario game the best i just like the music and the game style. Mario three is pretty close but i hear to much bout it and finished it alot. So in my opinion the second one is the best.

It's so hard to pick one 'cause they're all pretty fun to play.

"Double Dare" was a fun game to play....execpt for the lame obstacle course.

So was the first & third SMB games.

But, I would have to say "Ducktales" is probably my favorite NES game.

I used to put that in and just listen to the theme play on the title screen...in fact I think I did that just the other day.

Any one remember the game Bad Dudes?. Its the one where your two muscular guys with bad atitudes who are on a mission to save the president from ninga's. Me and my friend couldnt even beat the first level because the enemys move faster then you did so it was impossable to beat the game so me and my friend used the game genie and finally beat it. The ending is hilarious. You see the president holding a burger next to the bad dudes in front of the white house. Then the president says '' Thank you bad dudes for saving me from the ningas lets go got a burger hahahahah'' and then it play presidential music in the backround and then the credits . Man it was so worth it.

How did we manage to get to 4 pages on this subject without mentioning Final Fantasy come on you all disappoint me. Ofcourse we have Castlevania, SMB, and Zelda. But come on one of the strongest RPG's of all time Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, or Ultima. No one even mentioned them.

Every NES Game I own (plus a few that I don't) are my favorites!!! :P

The ones that stick out though are all the Super Mario Brothers and Mega Man Titles, Zelda, Ducktales, Chip 'n Dale, Punch out, Battle Toads, Final Fantasy, Godzilla, and TMNT.

I did mention Final Fantasy in my huge list of favorite games.

A couple of games that are on my list that I don't see on this post are Godzilla and Chip'n Dale. Those were great games too!

    And who can forget ExciteBike....

That game is still fun to play years and years later. I almost bought a GBA just to play Excite Bike. Of course, some of my earliest gaming experiences were with an Atari STUNT CYCLE arcade machine, circa 1976 or so. And Excite Bike could logically be called a more modern version of that game.

Oh...and Nintendo Wrestling. PIRANAH MAN HEAD CHOMP...yeesssss.

Legend of Zelda,SMB3 or MegaMan 2&3. I could play those all day long. I personally have never played Final Fantasy or any of them and don't really see the appeal or why people are obsessed with them. But they must be good games because they are still making them.
