I liked playing baseball and football games on NES, so I would say Tecmo Bowl 1&2 and R.B.I. baseball 2. My favorite non sport games are Battletoads, 1943, any Mega Man, and Ducktales was pretty fun.

Overall I will say Tecmo Bowl 2

oh god, where do i start? i Suppose the game i played non-stop was super mario 3. i was only 7 when i got it and i played ot all the time. but i had other favorites: zelda, super mario bros. and a couple others concerning tetris and doctor mario. But when it all comes down to it, my MOST favorite game was the punisher. Holy Crap! i had my trusty NES gun and i was unstoppable! wheni thgink about it, my whole collection spanned about 38 games, and i loved them all, so you could say i dont realy have a favorite game, but my favorite SYSTEm was the NES, hands down.

With out a doubt the best game on the NES was Super Mario Bros. 3 which was released in 1989 in the US and 1988 in Japan. It had great controls and Mario could fly. After the fun but disasterous SMB 2 fiasco Nintendo rebounded wonderfully.

Did you know Super Mario Brothers was so popular that Nintendo had like 60 revisions for each game as it was re-released new almost every year of NES's existence?

The game itself wasn't changed but they removed any glitches or things like that.

That game is the greatest game of all-time period.

Too hard to say...when NES came out, my attention span dropped tremendously in middle school. Friday night sleep-overs were junkfood all-nighters with Excitebike, Kung-Fu, Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Double Dragon...I could go on and on...

Every NES Game I own (plus a few that I don't) are my favorites!!! :P

The ones that stick out though are all the Super Mario Brothers and Mega Man Titles, Zelda, Ducktales, Chip 'n Dale, Punch out, Battle Toads, Final Fantasy, Godzilla, and TMNT.

I'm undecided between Super Mario Bros. 2, 3, and TMNT (the first one that came out in '89)

My favourite NES game that came head and shoulders above the rest, has to be Kirby. I loved Mario, and of course, Super Mario Bros 3 was a gaming masterpiece, but I loved Kirby more. Much more in depth game play, loads of mini-games, and a simple, yet cool main character.

Anyone that can turn into a wheel and run over baddies is a legend in my book.

(Wrestlemania Challenge was another top choice, Ultimate Warrior, I love you)

You're all forgetting about metal gear! bad translations aside, it was the start of one of the best gaming genres, sneak-em-ups
It started a hell of a franchise, but was a mediocre at best NES game.

Whoa that is hard, I think mines a draw between...

    Super Mario Brothers 3
    Hook
    The original TMNT
    The original Zelda
    Castlevania
Tom and Jerry (damn hard game too)
Whompem (was really cute, but I never got very far)

Picking just one would be suicide or full system shut down.

    Mike Tyson's Punchout
Mega Man 2 and all the others
The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link
Super Mario Bros. and it's sequels
    Double Dragon II
Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden II
    Metroid
    Dragon Warrior 3 and 4
and of course, that crazy little gem known as Amagon

I would have Castlevania up there but I hate those stupid Medusa heads.

My Favorite NES-Game of all Time is Parodius, followed by Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby's Adventure and Dr. Mario.

I'm quite happy to still own them all and using my trusty 16 Years old NES.
