T3 wasn't a bad movie. It just wasn't a great sequel. I loved the action sequences, and the fact the new Terminator was a chick. And an extremely hot one at that. I was just glad it didn't have Furlong in it. (did I spell that right?)

Overall, it was a good movie. We get to see how strong a Terminator really is, and finally see the beginning of the war. I always loved the glimpses we see of the war torn future between the human resistance and the machines.

Anyone know anything about the Terminator tv series coming out?
    Just thought I'd ask...

I think the Terminator TV series will make T3 look like a masterpiece.

wasn't there already a terminatior television show?

no wait.. that was captian power and the soilders of the future.. pretty much the same idea tho.

I wonder what they'd do with a Terminator TV series. Would it continue from T3 onward? Would it involve John Connor traveling the United States, avoiding extermination? (Almost a Hulk series.) They might decide to set it in the previous future setting, we'd have "The Adventures of Kyle Reece & Son".

Its about Sarah Connor of all people. I have a feeling this will be worse than the Total Recall, Robocop, and Blade series combinded.

So she was right... Judgment Day really has come. If she starts singing "We're gonna make it after all!", I'm siding with the Terminators.

They're really grasping for ideas these days.

Well I don't know its called the The Sarah Connor Chronicles so is it going to be about her waitressing all day since by Judgement Day she's already dead.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting too much from either movie. I mean, I saw all the hype, but I never walk into a movie with any expectations. I really dug the action in both movies. They basically brought comicbook action to life. I am still baffled to why AVP got a PG13 rating. But then again, I really don't know how these things are rated. And as far as T3 is concerned, Arnold wanted to go out with a bang. So I can understand why they try to go all out. They upped the stakes in the story and they tried to bring back the coldness of what a Terminator really was. And in a way, they pulled it off. But the movie was up against a new genre of film. Let's face it, after the first Matrix, action flicks had to really turn it up. And now with the emergence of superheroes coming out of the woodwork, the 'last action hereo' type movies are starting to become something of the past.
I'd still watch them, seeing that there are hardly any movies like them these days.

The 'dominatrix' is over rated. She wasn't as cool as the liquid guy before her.

The guy who played John, didn't really remind me of the kid.. in any way. I dunno. I liked the kid John, I expected someone more hip maybe. ~shrug~ The plot was .. ok I guess. I rather wished they showed the robots uprising.

I think so, but I also think he would've sucked.
Didn't he go the downward route of the other child stars?
Anyways, glad he didn't star in it.

    Later!

What are you talking about? Alien vs Predator is great... er wait, sorry, I'm thinking Alien loves Predator. Yeah, AvP was terrible. When someone asked me what I thought, I responded by asking "Have you seen Aliens?" "Have you seen Predator?" Then you don't need to see this film.

As for T3, I just don't think about it at all. Had no desire to see it what so ever. They ended T2 with them destroying Skynet before it was even created... so, how do you get a sequel exactly? (short of convoluted retconning) About the only thing that I could think of that would have made it intresting was to find out at the end that the future had completely changed, and the ones protecting John Connor were the bad guys and that killing him was the right thing to do.
    :(

I think that in T2, the Liquid Terminator, or whatever he was, def. a bad-ass villian. In T3 though, I was kinda saddened. And I beleive that in '07 T4 is on it's way, along with the much-anticipated Indiana Jones 4, and Die Hard 3. YESS!!!!

    :D

(All except T4  that is gonna be poopie)

They're really going to make it? Here's how I see it.

    T1- 1984
    T2- 1994
    T3- 2004
    T4- 2014?
T5- 2025 and the series ends
