but all u guys who hate TODAYS cartoons just becuz U liked the old shows dont mean that TODAYS KIDS like it. WHY?: becuz the old cartoons is 2 bad tahts all just look at them. if u were a kid nowdays u would have a low % chance 2 like em.
the reason why u think todays actually is bad: becuz their made for todays kids I agree with that. We can't get into them because they aren't aimed towards us, and let's be honest...some of the cartoons we watched was pretty awful or corny or cheesy. lol I agree with these statements. But while we're on the subject of mentioning modern cartoons that we like/don't like, I'll throw my two cents in:
shows I like: Ed, Edd, n' Eddy (it doesn't air here anymore, is it still being made?), Johnny Bravo, 6Teen, Jimmy Neutron, Winx Club (I can't believe no one mentioned this show at all in this thread). In an earlier post in this topic, I mentioned my not caring for Ed, Edd, n' Eddy since it seemed to be showeed much too often. Now, I like it. It's actually pretty funny, and as far as I know, it is still in production. I never cared for Johnny Bravo and I've never even heard of 6Teen or Winx Club. Jimmy Neutron's okay. I haven't seen it in the longest time, but maybe eventually, they'll stop dancing around the Jimmy x Cindy issue. wrote: I used to be into anime, but I lost interest in it a few years ago. I just can't be bothered to keep up with it. I guess I'm the same way here. Aside from Detective Conan subs and Naruto subs, I haven't gotten into anything new at all lately...unless Mahou Sensei Negima counts, but the anime totally butchered the manga so it isn't all that great. I prefer manga in general, so if anything, you should check out some manga series. If you like it enough, more than likely, you'll eventually check out its anime (if it has one). That's what I did with Mahou Sensei Negima...I can't wait until Gainax takes over and redoes it so that it follows the manga more.
I got into Detective Conan in the same way. I started off reading scanlations of its manga years ago, and found a way to watch its anime back in about 2002 or 2003, before it was dubbed and stuff.
Anywho, I'm clueless as to what's coming out now and stuff. Nothing's really grasped my interest yet, then again, I'm not looking for it. Now, as for manga series, I'll keep my eyes peeled to that. I highly suggest the series, Deathnote. I heard that it's supposed to get an anime soon too. If it does, I'd most definitely watch it since I'm enjoying the manga series immensely.
Edit: Oh, I forgot about Digimon Savers. I'm pretty much keeping up with that, mainly because I'm one of the editors for the WtW subbing group that's putting it out.
