Hulk Hogan World Heavyweight Championship: Batista d. JBL Edge d. Matt Hardy Undertaker d. Randy Orton The Cena/Jericho match is pretty easy to predict since the Unforgiven poster features Cena vs. Angle for the belt. Edge/Hardy could go either way depending on how far they want to go with this feud. Sacrifice predictions: Jeff Jarrett & Rhino d. Raven & Sabu Super X Cup Finals: Samoa Joe d. AJ Styles Jerry Lynn d. Sean Waltman Abyss d. Lance Hoyt 3 Live Kru d. Kip James & The Alpha Male The thing that sucks about this pay-per-view is that none of their titles will be defended unless they throw together a last minute Tag Team title match. I didn't predict the X-Divsion Internet Dream Match because it's hard to tell who his opponent will be. As much as I would love to see Petey Williams reach the Super X Cup finals, I think TNA would rather have Styles there. I am still trying to figure out what Samoa Joe has to do in the X-Division

Deleted 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 54340	I was bored with the first hour and 30 minutes of Raw, as has been the trend recently. So I decided to try Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale. I’ve got to say that they aren’t too bad together. As for Hogan and Michaels, as well as Hardy/Edge, I enjoy how the WWE sees the fans as not being stupid anymore and more internet savvy. It makes the banter between the two much more involving and gets me in the mood to actually watch the match at Summerslam. However, this sort of trend kind of kills the old childhood vision of wrestling where all the other stuff was “real”. I hope Raw can catch up with Smackdown, which has easily left it in the proverbial dust when it comes to keeping me entertained.

Derrick 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 1255	Since Cena left Smackdown its been kinda dull. The only wrestlers I pay attention to on Smackdown are Undertaker, Batista and the return of Road Warrior Animal. Rey Mysterio used to be great but this whole thing with this son and Eddie Guerrero is just too damn strange. These gimmicks and storylines get out of hand sometimes. Raw's got the whole Hogan/Michaels thing, plus appearances by Stone Cold and Roddy Piper, plus its got Cena.

(i know i called it wwf i cain't stand the whole wwe thing. they've been that way for over 50 years then that wildlife foundation had to step in and juss jack up the whole thang).

Deleted 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 54340	See, I really like JBL on Smackdown as well. I met him the last time Smackdown came through San Antonio and he was a pretty cool guy. It was funny, my friend and I were sitting at a bar, and sure enough, Bradshaw, Cena, Rey, Orlando Jordan, the Bashums, Paul London, Funaki, and Charlie Haas walk in. We both decided to buy them a round of beers and they were really thankful, coming up and saying hi. Rey was super cool taking some questions from my friend. Cena was so humble when he came up and said thanks, which really got me to start watching him. Funaki seemed like he was kind of drunk when he came up to say hi, it was funny. Bradshaw shook our hands and said thanks, then they were all toasting each other, “To the champ,” and he looked over to us and toasted us. All in all, it was a cool experience. As far as other characters, Christian is awesome in the ring and is a great talker. Benoit is the best to watch in the ring. Being half Mexican, I really find Mexicool really funny. And you just have got to love the bWo. Raw: Conway? 30 minutes worth of Diva Search? Snitsky? 3 different wrestler talk shows? Those are reasons I get frustrated with Raw. Eugene, Angle, Benjamin, Masters, Show, Hardy, Edge, Kane, HBK, Hogan, Cena, Jericho, and Carlito all belong on my TV. Not Rob Schneider.

Deleted 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 54340	It’s not so much that I’m frustrated with the WWE in its current state. I try to make the best out of every situation. I’ve caught some ROH and it was really good. I also enjoy the NWA product and look forward to it being on national television. They’re getting a bad timeslot, but it’ll be nice to see another show. Indy wrestling is hard to find here in San Antonio. I wrestled my freshman year of college (When I was still in the peak conditioning for it) for an Indy fed, but they went under. Hopefully something will come out around here so my friends and I can hit it up.

Hogan really wanted to "up the antie" with wanting Michaels to do that to his family just for "heat's" sake. Honestly I still consider HBK as one of my all time favorite wrestlers and it seems in his interviews that he does not like Hogan BUT does not like the boos from the crowd (just watch his facial expressions closely).

TV1985 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 760	I love pro-wrestling. One pro-wrestling program that I miss is WCW Monday Nitro. Which lasted from 1995 to 2001. The closest thing to WCW today is NWA/TNA.

highquality 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 95	I actually see TNA more like WCW was in its heyday. Their X Division is stocked with some of the best independent workers around, they have a solid tag team division (better than WWE's anyway), and for a while had guys like Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, DDP, Randy Savage, and Curt Hennig. I'm interested in how you connect TNA with ECW. I know they have several former ECW wrestlers, good booking, and are trying to make themselves unique through the use of a six-sided ring and gimmick matches such as King of the Mountain and Ultimate X, but I never thought of TNA as ECW. As for SmackDown! becoming WCW, forget about it. Raw is Vince's baby and will continue to ensure its dominance. The last time SmackDown! was really good was during the SmackDown! Six days when Paul Heyman was still head writer.

Predaking 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 1923	Man, I must be getting old cause I remember Pro Wrestling when it was the WWF. My first recollections were of the Iron Shiek, Andre the Giant, Jimmy Superfly Snucka (sp?), Rowdy Roddy Piper etc. Than there was a transition period with Bret the Hitman Heart, Ultimate Warrior, Mr. Fuji and the Powers of Pain, Jake the Snake and a favorite of mine, Mr. Perfect. I lost touch after I think his name was Zues showed up and beat up Hulk Hogan.

The Bushwackers, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, The Mountee, Repo Man, Jake the Snake, Undertaker.... went to a couple of WWF events over in Allentown back in the day. Think I stopped watching around the time the Rock started cookin'.

TV1985 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 760	I was watching WWE Raw last night and they were in Bret "The Hitman" Hart's hometown Montreal, Canada and played his enterance music and he never came out. I was shocked at first. But since there was no Bret Hart in site, I was dissapointed. I don't know if Bret Hart will come back to wrestling or not.
