Camp Cariboo grew out of the fabulous summer camping experiences of Tom Knowlton and Mark Baldwin, and the creative genius of producer and co-creator Janis Nostbakken and directors John Matlock and Paul. The television series was produced at CKCO-TV in Kitchener, and at summer camps across Ontario, Canada. The series ran for five seasons and is currently (2007) out of production.

Corny? Certainly! Canadian? 100%! Down to earth brilliant and realistic? Ok, brilliant... At any age, the Cariboo Credo has got to be memoriable - immediately takes you back to your childhood past - and lets you stay there! Thank all of you!

My teenage kids got me thinking about old shows I watched with them when they were very little and Camp Cariboo was one of them and I just loved it.My oldest was just a baby.It took me 24 hrs. of hard thinking to remember the name but finally I thought of it.Would love to just see a clip of it!!!
