That '70s Show

Show Summary

Aired: 1998 - 2006
Show Type: Live Action
Country of Origin: US

Set in the era of Led Zeppelin 8-tracks, Tab colas and Farrah Fawcett posters, THAT '70s SHOW continues to flash back to the "Me Decade" during the seventh season. The nostalgic series comes from celebrated producers Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner ("Roseanne," "The Cosby Show") and wildly inventive creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner ("3rd Rock from the Sun," "Wayne's World," "Tommy Boy," "The Brady Bunch Movie"), with fellow "3rd Rock" producer Mark Brazill.

Too cool for the Wisconsin suburbs where he lives under the authority of his parents -- RED (Kurtwood Smith) and KITTY (Debra Jo Rupp) -- 18-year-old ERIC FORMAN (Topher Grace) yearns for his independence. But rites of passage aren’t all that easy at a time when jumpsuits and platforms are the epitome of cool. Just ask Eric's ex-girlfriend and next door neighbor, DONNA (Laura Prepon), a knock-out who’s been forced to deal with her parents’ recent split and her dad BOB’s (Don Stark) new life as a swinging single.

Eric gets by with a little help from his friends, who spend most of their time hanging out in the Forman basement and pondering their lives, their parents and their future. The gang includes KELSO (Ashton Kutcher), a good-looking but gullible guy, especially when it comes to dealing with his controlling on-again, off-again girlfriend JACKIE (Mila Kunis); HYDE (Danny Masterson), a conspiracy theorist who thinks Xerox will take over the world; and FEZ (Wilmer Valderrama), a foreign exchange student who’s soaking up American culture like a sponge.

This season, Eric and Donna pick-up the pieces from their broken engagement and decide to just have fun and enjoy each other again. Hyde meets and establishes relationships with his father (guest star Tim Reid) and foxy half-sister. Jackie is excited her ne'er-do-well boyfriend is suddenly the son of a successful businessman, but has to learn to build her life on more than just the man she's dating. Kelso has his baby -- a daughter --and realizes all of the women he's fooled around with are someone's daughters too. He struggles to treat women with more respect without cramping his dating style. Fez starts working at a beauty salon and finds his true calling...and the key to success with women.

This season look for Brooke Shields, Tim Reid, Tanya Roberts and a host of others to join the impressive list of guest stars/'70s icons who have appeared on the show including, Gloria Gaynor, Paul Anka, Lyle Waggoner, Shirley Jones, Danny Bonaduce, Charo, Alice Cooper, Marion Ross, Eve Plumb, Ted Nugent, Howard Hesseman, Valerie Harper, Bob Eubanks, Roger Daltrey and Robert Hays. Additionally, Luke Wilson, The Rock, Melissa Joan Hart, Jack Osbourne, Seth Green, Jessica Simpson, Fred Willard and Erika Christensen.

THAT ‘70s SHOW is a Carsey-Werner production. Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner and Mark Brazill are creators/executive producers and Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner, Jeff Filgo and Jackie Filgo are executive producers.
