He is very anti-authority, resents being told what to do, and seems to spend most of his time investigating cases related to his family, friends and colleagues rather than his employers.

A bad Spin off. Richard Grieco and Booker is no match for Johnny Depp and Hanson.

Actually, Booker was no better nor no worse than 21 Jump Street. Maybe Johnny Depp was a more talented actor who has gone on to a better career, but he didn't get a spin off (or possibly didn't take on a spin off) the way Richard Grieco did. If I recall correctly, the Nielsen Ratings boxes not being used correctly at the time is what led to Booker getting cancelled before it should have.
