These were good imformative shows for my generation. Nick at night should bring them back or maybe ABC can make another series for the new generation. Of course Johnny won't be smoking pot now, he'll have a meth lab and Susie won't be accepting a ride from a stranger, she will be running from online preditors.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE WERE BOSS!!!! Hands down, ABC used to make the best shows back in the day. Afternoon specials was the thing to watch @ 4:30 (whenver they popped up) and even tho they were too realistic @ times, they sent honest msgs out to ppl who watched it..

We'd never see anything like this on TV now... Damn shame. Instead of informing kids of things that can happen. They show them obsene reality shows...

i also remember a late 70's or early 80's one with Helen Hunt as a drug addict. Most of them were designed to scare the crap out of you.
