New Monkees

Like everyone else who tuned in to the first episode, I had expectations that the format would be similar to the original Monkees, and was surprised when it wasn't. Rather than a half-hour running plot, each episode contained sketch comedy and New Monkees music videos. Like so many other New Monkee fans, I thought to myself, if only they'd been named something else, viewers would just allow this show to have an identity of its own! If there's ever a reunion episode, please let me write it!
Look up "New Monkees" on You Tube, and be amazed !

The New Monkees to me were the absolute best. I love these guys like friends I've known all my life. The show was one of kind and it's awesome that the episode clips have been put at Youtube. Be sure to check them out!

Many people cut down The New Monkees. I dont see why. These four guys went thru so much while making this show.. I remember staying up late and having to try to get the station to come in so i could watch them.. as soon as the tape came out i bought it. who wouldn't . the music was wonderful. And to tell the truth the guys were/are gorgeous so it was a great show for teenage girls to fall in love with.. we actually still get the honor of talking to a few of the actual members at the yahoo group, they still are wonderful people. If you don't know about this show , check it out on youtube.com before you make harsh comments.. feelings do get hurt . I am proud to say that i am a new monkee fan forever...

I've been a New Monkees fan since I first saw them on Solid Gold lipsyncing WHAT I WANT. I bought the CD and it's been a fav all these years. I wasn't able to watch the show till this past year and I must say that it is better than most would expect. It reminds me of that Nick show, ALL THAT. It was obviously ahead of it's time back in the day. I can definately see why the show itself still has fans...the great music was an added BIG PLUS! This band was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the Monkees and it's also obvious that they were NOT trying to be like them either. Too bad they weren't given a shot to let the show grow...they certainly deserved it.

I LUVED THOSE NEW MONKEES! OHHHHHHH LARRY!!!! SO HOT & SEXY!!!!!!! YUM-O!!!!!! DELISH!!!!!! WHERE ARE THEY NOW????? I WONDER! THEY WERE SO FUNNY! I LUVED THE MUSIC TOO. I HAVE THEIR RECORD. CAN U BELIEVE THAT????
