Between sketches is often comedic animations by Terry Gilliam, now a unique style in pop culture.

Way too radical for network channels in the early 1970's, in Southern California MPFC was then broadcast on PBS (KCET). The one-liners could (can still can) be repeated endlessly. And now for something completely different....

My friend [born in 1994 fyi] has the box set for this. She LOVES Monty Python.
