I used to watch reruns of this show on TNT for awhile, cause it was on "primetime in the Daytime", sandwiched in between 2 episodes of "NYPD Blue" and I was too lazy to turn the channel. Unfortunately, after a few months, I actually started to pay attention to the show instead of using it for naptime.

I've always been a fan of this show. Love Tyne Daly and Amy Brenneman, both are 2 of my fave actresses. Also loved the chemistry between Bruce Van Exel and Amy on the show. My fave episode is when Amy dreams about Bruce cooking breakfast for her and Maxine in the Gray House one morning. Lets just say...there was a lot of sizzlin' going on in the kitchen, and I'm not talking about meat being cooked in the frying pan. If you've seen this episode, you'll know what I'm talking about. Also loved the show when Richard Crenna was on, and played Maxine's fiance, but it was a sad day when I heard Richard Crenna had passed away. Was also sad day when Vincent left the show. I have to admit I cried. I also cried when his replacement Kyle, had also left the show. After Kyle left, I was thrilled to see the show had brought Vincent back to do a few episodes. Not sure if this show got cancelled, or if everyone just decided to end it, but I sure miss it, and wish it was still on tv. This show at least had some of the best actors and the best writers. I always wished Tyne Daly and Amy Brenneman could of done another show together.
