ya it is a cheap knockoff of Theodore Tugboat

Theodore Tugboat aired in 1993 tugs aired in 1988. So Theodore Tugboat was the spin off for Tugs. Even though it ran for 4 seasons over tugs one. Tugs production quality was actually quite high certainly amongest the best for that type of kids show.

I used to have a video of the show years ago it was one of my faves. and yes I to say it was a very male show.

Robert D. Cardona, worked on TUGS with David Mitton, both had worked on Thomas the Tank Engine. Robert D. Cardona later went to work on Theodore Tugboat. Weird, huh?
