Bad, bad, bad 70s Japanese regular-guy-turns-into-giant-robot-esq show. The highlight (other than the great cheesy monsters) is the main villains. These are two guys in ape masks keeping traditional Japanese theatre alive through the over-use of hand gestures. Wonderfully campy, Spectreman makes the special effects in Power Rangers look like Episode III (but at least the acting is better).

hey does anyone know of any current links where i can download the theme song for this show? would love to get the intro and outro songs. i've been trying for a few months now and no luck. much appreciated. i loved this show when i was a kid and glad its surfacing on dvd

I found a torrent of this show on the internet, do a search and you can find it easy. I'm watching it this week.

I've not seen this in over 23 years.

Use to come home and watch it after school on tv.

Too bad this show is only available on bootleg dvd. Cost start at $60 bucks and goes up. Probably will never see a region 1 dvd release.

this show reminds me of ultraman but not as good but i will check it out to see what the villans look like hahaha same reason i watched power rangers when i was a kid
