Premiering on CBS on September 17, 1983, "The Biskitts" was a Hanna-Barbera series centered around a group of dogs living on Biskitt Island. Their mission in life is to guard the castle's crown jewels. Serving their late king, the Biskitts help the less fortunate in the kingdom while trying to keep the king's younger brother Max from becoming the new king.
Running for one season on CBS, the show was designed to follow the formula of "The Smurfs." Largely, the series has been forgotten, and no DVD has been announced.
