The Glo friends was a 15 minute cartoon aired on the Disney Channel in 1986 along with The Potato head Kids as part of the My Little Pony and Friends episodes. The Glo Friends cartoon was a spin-off from the christmas special released in 1985, The Glo Friends Save Christmas, based off of the popular Glo Worm toy series. The Glo Friends were a group of bugs that are constantly trying to find moondrops, the food that makes them glow. There enemies, the moleigans, a group of mole-like creatures, would try to steal the moondrops to light thier caves. The Glo Friends lasted only one season and consisted of 13 episodes.

wow I miss this show!! It used to be a my little pony/glo friends/lady lovely locks hour type of thing that used to come on. It would always come on right as school was letting out so I'd always end up missing it or just catching the end!! :-(

I loved the glo friends so much. I hope they put out the 13 episodes on DVDS.

Raise you hand if you had a glow friend!!! lol I had one!! He had his little purple night cap on and when you hugged him his little face would light up!
