Name That Tune was a musical game show hosted by Tom Kennedy. The show went like this, two contestants played a series of musical related games; each one had the contestants name a series of tunes, and scoring enough tunes scored points. The player with the most points won a chance to play the Golden Medley for a chance to name seven more tunes and win a whole lot more, plus the right to win $100,000. Name That Tune lasted from 1974 to 1981; it was revived in 1984 with former Dating Game host Jim Lange at the helm, and lasted for one season.

of"Name That Tune!"was Dennis James..but he didn't

do very well as the program's mc.

The hosting job on the series went to Tom Kennedy

and later to Jim Lange.

Ms.Kathi Lee Johnson(Who later became known as

Mrs.Kathi Lee Gifford)was the show's vocallist.
