Show Summary

Aired: 1995 - 1996
Show Type: Animated
Country of Origin: US

A show about a mouse(Max) who travels to Washington D.C to live with his cousin under the White House after his home is gassed. There he meets the smart-alleck, food obsessed, intolerant Jammet and his mother Trixie - who run's the entire basement where they live.

Other characters are Berkley, Max's cousin who is constantly protesting something or another and is always calling people 'fascists' and Muggle, a retired lab rat who despite his looks is very intelligent and is constantly spewing out facts... and exploding.

The show focused on very adult subjects and snappy comebacks for jokes. Each episode would focus on key issues of the time - such as racism, the misuse of weapons, the consequences of drug use.

Jammet would usually be the main antagonist in the episodes despite not being an actual villain and Max who would use his wit and common sense to convey a message to the viewer through explaining to Jammet his wrong-doing.

While the series was geared towards adult humor, it appeared very childish and was aired on a children's programming block.

ABC cancelled the show after showing only 7 of the 13 episodes that were produced. The Cartoon Network picked up the series in 1995 and it ran there for most of 1996.

No comments yet? I found this one on YouTube, I think I missed out on it when I was little. I think Max is my favorite, he seems like one of the more intelligent characters in the show. I also like Berkley, the hippie girl.
