Ah,the late,great John Pertwee (Doctor Who), series also featured an early appearance by Charlotte Coleman (later, "Marmalade Atkins", "Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit"), now also sadly passed on. Geoffrey "Catweazle"
Bayldon played the crowman. Barbara Windsor also popped up occasionally as "Saucy Nancy"! Series was
briefly (unsuccessfully) resurrected as "Worzel Gummidge Down Under".

I remember an episode when he was sentenced to be 'unmade' or something it scared me bigtime, I think the ground tried to swallow him up - his last request was "a cup of tea and a piece of cake". And don't even get me started on the scary zombie scarecrows...
