If I recall correctly, this show was about a couple who adopted a ton of kids, and maybe had lots of animals, too. The few things I remember are a little girl who hid in closets and things because she came from an abusive background; the favorite stuffed toy of the youngest boy getting snatched (through the doggie door) by the pet alligator/crocodile and later being rescued from the bottom of the pond by the dad; and the mom being some sort of vet, perhaps, who performed an emergency tracheotomy on a guy while out in public somewhere (cut a hole in this throat and put in a pen tube, saving his life) and then getting sued by the guy.
I know that the blonde older chick was Joey Lauren Adams from Mallrats and Chasing Amy, and the guy she was into on there is the guy who plays cylcops on the x-men movies. I cant remember much else about the cast.
