Yet another spinoff from the Tenchi Muyo series, the storyline in this show is a bit different. Sasami Jurai (named different from Kawai in the original Tenchi) becomes queen of the world of Juraihelm and gains magical powers to stop an evil magical girl. Sasami becomes Pretty Sammy in order to use the magic power she has. The line of characters from the tenchi character make a return, but make different appearances. For example, Tenchi is Sasami's brother other than one of his admirers like in the original, Ryoko is a space pirate, and Washu is a scientist. The show made it to the U.S., but it wasn't aired on tv, it was put on vhs.
