The story revolves around a young boy named Sport Billy who is from the planet Olympus which is populated by god-like beings. Billy himself has a magic size-changing gym bag which produces various tools as he needs them. He travels to Earth on a mission to promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Described by the show's theme song as a "hero from another planet", Billy battles the evil Queen Vanda and her gnome-like henchman, Sipe. Vanda's mission is to destroy all sports in the galaxy since fairness disgusts her.

Billy is assisted by two faithful companions, a girl named Lilly and a talking dog named Willy. The trio travel around in a time traveling spaceship, which resembles a giant wind-up clock, complete with a ringing bell, and mounted on two rocket engines.

Each week the trio travel through time to save a different Earth sport from Queen Vanda's grasp.

I love the wind up clock that was his space ship and time machine. He could pull out anything out of that sport bag even the kitchen sink. Ahhhhhh the glory days are gone for good.

I remember this one....long, long ago.
Unfortunately, I'm one of the few.
That clock was nice and that bag seemed to have no bottom at all (the things he got out of there...wow!)
Anyway, what I can remember is that I loved this show!

Yeah, I remember this one, too. I recall it had the support of the Presidential Award for Physical Fitness. Seriously, don't you think the idea of him having that bag was totally ripped from Felix The Cat?
