I remember this. I watched it one summer when I was visiting Family in Israel. It was on tv everyday at my grandma's house, so me and my sister watched it all the time.
Its been many many years, and now learning that was an anime is quite a surprise.
This was a great series, and I highly suggest that everyone who have the chance, to go watch it.

I would love to see this anime show and buy it on DVD. Does anyone know if it is available? I never seen the anime but I read the book and I love it.
